Description

    Adventure Magazine Lot (Popular Publications, 1935 & 1938). Pulp Magazines (2) (Multiple Pages, 10" X 6.75"). Adventure.
Offered in this lot are two issues of Adventure Magazine. The pulp magazine ran from 1910-1971, consisting of 881 issues. The magazines would offer several stories between the Wild West and the front lines of war. Writers have included T.S. Stribling, W.C. Tuttle, Tex O'Reilly, Talbot Mundy, Gordon Young, and Bertrand W. Sinclair, to name a few. The feature cover stories of these two magazines are "Pecos Bill Goes Hunting" by Tex O' Reilly and "The Devil and Paddy Drogheda" by William Chamberlain. Unrestored magazines with an overall very presentable appearance. They may have edge and spine wear, brittleness, writing on the covers and spines, creases, tears, dust shadows, and minor stains. Cover artwork for the 1935 issue by Walter Baumhofer, with W.F Soare for the 1938 issue. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine.
