Description

The Silver Streak (RKO, 1934). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Certainly not to be confused with the Gene Wilder version, this picture found Charles Starrett designing a revolutionary new passenger train capable of speeds over 100 miles per hour. Excitement mounts as he has to prove his trains worth, by delivering emergency medical supplies across the country. For vintage train buffs, this poster couldn't be better. The Silver Streak was a streamlined, Art Deco train that dominates this one sheet. The poster has a few pinholes in the borders and some very small tears in the edges. Although the poster is linen backed, no attempt was made to airbrush the borders and cover the pinholes. Very Fine- on Linen.
