The Crow, The Story Behind the Film and Other Autographed Books Lot (Miramax, 1994. Autographed Hardbound Books with Dustcovers (3) (Multiple Pages, 6" X 9" - 7" X 10"), and Autographed Softbound Book (6.5" X 9"). Action.
This lot includes four autographed books. The first is The Crow, The Story Behind the Film by Bridget Baiss (Unwin, 2000). The title page has three autographs, one by the author, "John, All the Best, Bridget"; one by Lance Anderson, Special Makeup Effects Artist on the film, "All the best - Lance Anderson, make-up for The Crow"; and one by Ken Arlidge, 2d Unit photography. There is a hardbound copy with dustcover copy of On the Grind by Stephen J. Cannell (St. Martin's Press, 2008) which has been autographed by the author on the title page, with an inscribed date of "1/24/09." Also included is a hardbound copy with dustcover of Do I Stand Alone by Jesse Ventura (Pocket Books, 2000) which has been autographed on the title page, "Gov. Jesse Ventura." There is also a softbound copy of Usagi Yojimbo, Book Four by Stan Sakai (Fantagraphics Books, 1991). This book has been autographed on the flyleaf title page by the author, and has also been remarqued by him with a delightful, original ink sketch. Unrestored books with bright color and a clean overall appearance. They may have general signs of use, such as very slight edge and spine wear. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Heritage believes the autographs in this lot to be authentic, but please know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided. From the collection of the late John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector. Very Fine.
