Description

Superman (DC Comics, 1992/1993). Near Mint-. Comic Books (9) (Multiple Pages, 6.75" X 10.25"). Action.
In a move that gained mainstream attention and would have dramatic effects on the comic book industry for years, DC Comics "killed" the iconic superhero Superman in the biggest crossover event of the nineties. Offered in this lot are two polybagged copies of the "Superman Memorial Set" of Superman #75 (DC Comics, 1992), the issue where Doomsday and Superman battle to their deaths on the streets of Metropolis. Also included are seven polybagged copies of the "Superman Collector's Set" of The Adventures of Superman #500 (DC Comics, 1993), the issue where Jonathan Kent attempts to bring his son Clark Kent back from the afterlife. Very lightly used, unrestored comic books with fresh, saturated colors. The comic books should have no holes, no tears, and no paper loss. All of the issues come in their original, unopened polybags, and the bags only show very minor smudges, creases, or a few tiny holes.
