Description

Submarine (Columbia, 1928). Window Card (14" X 22").
In this early silent adventure from director Frank Capra, Jack Holt and Ralph Graves play Navy buddies who fight over their love of Dorothy Reiver amidst disaster aboard a submarine. The film was one of the earliest big budget films for Columbia, and was a big hit with audiences, leading to a decades-long successful career for Capra at the studio. This rarely seen card has stains in two borders, a bend in the lower left corner, smudges at the top left corner, tears in three borders, and a corner chip. There are pieces of cellophane tape on the reverse. Very Good/Fine.
