    Description

South of Tahiti (Universal, 1941). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Action.
Just before becoming "The Queen of Technicolor," after Universal's 1942 Arabian Nights, this colorful poster of a gorgeously saronged Maria Montez, very effectively launched her as a top pin-up queen. Starring Brian Donlevy, Broderick Crawford, Andy Devine, Maria Montez, Henry Wilcoxon, H.B. Warner. Directed by George Waggner. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. The poster has had excellent restoration for some enlarged pinholes in the corners, a 1/4" paper loss in the borders, a hole in the credits, and general touch-up to fold wear that had slight paper loss. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine on Linen.
