Dungeons & Dragons Original Collector's Edition (Tactical Studies Rules, 1977). Very Fine-. First Edition Sixth Printing Collector's Box Set (6.25" X 9.25" X 1.5") with Gameplay Booklets (4) (Multiple Pages, 5.5" X 8.5") & Reference Sheets (20 Pages, 5.5" X 8.5"). Action.Offered in this lot is a first edition, sixth printing of the of the Original Collector's Edition of Dungeons and Dragons. The box set contains three gameplay booklets, titled Men & Magic, Monsters & Treasure, Underworld & Wilderness Adventures, and Supplement I: Greyhawk, as well as a reference sheet booklet. The sixth printing changed from the previous printings due to legal trouble from the Tolkien estate. The original printings contained many references to Lord of the Rings, including hobbits, ents, nazgûl, and barrow wights. The sixth printing changed hobbits to halflings, thus creating D&D's first original race. An unrestored box set with bright color and a clean overall appearance.
