Airport '79: The Concorde (Universal, 1979). Very Fine-. Original Mixed Media Poster Artwork on Illustration Board (20" X 24").Making its first appearance for auction at Heritage, this unique piece of artwork can be found on the film's style B one sheets, as well as other poster formats produced in Japan and Spain. This painting of the imperiled Concorde jet unfortunately has no known artist, but it has retained its vibrant color over the years and still looks fantastic. Indications of handling found in this splendid piece include slight edge wear, a small scratch, and an adhesive stain in the right background. There are a few smudges on the illustration board, however we believe these to be part of the creation process.
