The love story of Maria and Tony (Natalie Wood and Richard Beymer) is set in the streets of New York, which is also a tense stage for the battles between rival gangs the Jets and the Sharks. Featuring music by Leonard Bernstein, direction from Robert Wise, and an outstanding performance from Rita Moreno, the film is truly unforgettable. Prior to restoration the poster had chips from the top and bottom of the vertical foldline into the red background. There is touchup to the foldlines and crossfold paper loss. The borders have been airbrushed. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
