    Description

The Lost Weekend (Paramount, 1945). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Winner of Best Picture at the 1945 Oscars, this film stars Jane Wyman and Ray Milland. Milland's outstanding portrayal of a writer who goes on a weekend bender earned him an Academy Award, and Billy Wilder won for Best Director. The poster has been restored to address pinholes in the borders, a tear in the right border, cross fold separation, and a chip in the top right corner. Some light edge wear and smudging can still be detected. There are minor printing smudges in the left border and the linen has been trimmed to the edges. Overall, the piece still retains a very presentable look. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
