Mrs. Miniver (MGM, 1942). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Style D.Posters for this Academy Award winner are quite scarce, including this lovely style D one sheet, which Heritage has not had the opportunity to offer for five years. William Wyler's production features a terrific ensemble cast dealing with life in England as the war against the Nazis breaks out. The film was a huge success and struck a sympathetic chord with American audiences. It went on to score Oscars for Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, Actress (Greer Garson), and Supporting Actress (Teresa Wright). After professional restoration, this one sheet no longer displays mild fold wear and separations, pinholes, a scratch in the left background, and a few minor chips and tears. An rare chance not to be missed, this one sheet is a wonderful find for classic collectors.
