    Description

It Happened One Night (Columbia, 1934). Lobby Card Set of 8 (9" X 12").
Frank Capra's It Happened One Night is a monumental classic, as it was the first film ever to win all five top Oscars. Legend has it that Clark Gable did not want to do the role, but was on loan-out to the "poverty row" studio, Columbia. As fate would have it, the 1934 feature made Gable, Frank Capra, and Columbia fixtures in Hollywood history. Each card in this glossy finish lobby set has been trimmed on all sides, but the beautiful images Gable and co-star Claudette Colbert are not affected. Very Good.
