It was Columbia Studio's big jump from "poverty row" into the big time, when this small budget comedy swept the young Academy Awards, winning Best Picture, Best Actress (Claudette Colbert), Best Actor (Clark Gable), Best Director (Frank Capra), and Best Writing (Robert Riskin). Posters from this classic have always been scarce. The card shows toning, pinholes, soft corner creases, and surface scuffs. Small strips of paper tape on the verso. From the Wood Hall Collection.
