This lavish American pre-Code drama was the first film to win the Oscar for Best Picture featuring an ensemble cast. Starring some of the biggest names at MGM, its all-star characters become embroiled in a web of love and intrigue set in the finest hotel in Berlin. Grossing more than $3 million at the box office, a significant sum for its time, the film also marked a turning point for Greta Garbo's career, becoming a box office draw and elevating the actress to Hollywood stardom. A gorgeous portrait of Garbo and John Barrymore highlights this scarce lobby card, only the fourth offered by Heritage. Incredibly clean, this lobby card shows only a few scattered pinholes within the borders.
