Gone with the Wind (MGM, R-1954). Horizontal French Double Grande (63" X 92.5") Roger Soubie Artwork.One of the better pieces available on this legendary title is the very scarce French double grande with artwork by famed artist Roger Soubie. Few of this format survived, as most were pasted up on Parisian walls, and then rather than being taken down, another title was pasted on top. Printed in vibrant color, collectors will not want to miss the opportunity to add this jaw-dropper to their collection. Touchup was applied to the folds with mild chips and a tear in the lower credits. There is some toning still visible in the folds, and there is a post-restoration wave to the linen and poster. Very Fine- on Linen.
