DescriptionGone with the Wind (MGM, 1939). Roadshow Title Lobby Card and Lobby Cards (3) (11" X 14").
When Gone With the Wind was originally released in December 1939, MGM printed special "road show" paper to be displayed in the few theatres around the country that were showing the film. The regular posters and lobbies would not be issued until February 1940 when the film was released in theatres everywhere else. This "road show" title card has a green snipe box, chips in the corners, a stain in the top and bottom border, pinholes in the corners, and smudging. The scene cards have the above mentioned signs of wear and/or rounded corners/bends. Fine/Very Fine.
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
