DescriptionGone with the Wind (MGM, 1939). Argentinean Poster (29" X 43.5").
One of the best epics in the history of cinema, Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh are Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara in Victor Fleming's sweeping Civil War-era drama set deep in the American South. The film would earn 8 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Actress, Director, Screenplay, and Supporting Actress, among others. Shortly after the film's initial release in the US, the picture went into a wider release internationally, and MGM retained the same art used on the US posters. This is a very rare original release Argentinean poster that looks similar to the US style CF one sheet. Professional restoration has addressed chipping along the center horizontal fold through the title, a small chip in the lower crossfold, and chips with small tears in the borders. Fine on Linen.
