Sandro Simeoni Artwork.Frank Sinatra's presence looms over the Hawaiian beach of Pearl Harbor in this Italian poster from the Best Picture of 1953. Sinatra would win the Oscar for Supporting Actor as Maggio, the maligned private, and Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr would be nominated for their roles. Their embrace on this poster is the way it was called for in the script, however Lancaster changed it to having them embrace lying in the surf as the waves crash in, creating an iconic moment of screen history. With unforgettable imagery by Sandro Simeoni, this Italian poster has had the benefit of professional restoration. Touchup to the folds and pinholes in the borders. Very Fine- on Linen.
