Description

Casablanca (Warner Brothers, R-1956). Folded, Very Fine. German A1 (23.5" X 33") Hans Otto Wendt Artwork.
No doubt one of the greatest classics to ever hit the silver screen, Casablanca has endured through the decades as a beloved favorite across all generations, its timeless story continuing to captivate audiences both young and old. The palpable chemistry, not just between Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman but the whole cast, elevates this bittersweet war drama into a compelling story more than worthy of its Best Picture Academy Award. A portrait of the stunning Bergman dominates this scarce poster, accompanied by Dooley Wilson down below, painted by Hans Otto Wendt. Rarely seen at auction, this German poster has very slight edge and fold wear, minor fold separations, soft creases, and a couple of minute tears. There are a few thin dust shadows, but the aforementioned issues have little effect on the piece's presentation. Folded, Very Fine.
