Italian artist Luigi Martinati used all of his prowess and skill to create one of the most beautiful posters ever made for Ingrid Bergman. Set against the backdrop of Casablanca in French Morocco and the human desperation that was World War II, Bergman brought an elegance to the Michael Curtiz picture that would make it one of the greatest films ever made. This poster capitalizes on her (even though she never wears anything this sublime in the film) and is one of the rarest and best posters created for the legendary film. Minor touchup has been applied to the folds, pinholes in the borders, several crossfold chips, and a tear under the artist signature. There is still a slight tape stain in the upper right corner and some slight edge wear in the right border that are still visible. Very Fine- on Linen.
