DescriptionCasablanca (Warner Bros., R-1940s). Australian Daybill (13" X 30").
After WWII, Warner Bros. decided to reissue their Academy Award winning drama starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Since Australia was a wartime ally of the U.S. the film was shown in that country in 1942 but was reissued in the latter part of the decade. This wonderful and scarce daybill is only the second copy we have offered and the first in over ten years. The poster shows sight edge wear with a couple minor tears, mild creasing, and a small bit of paper loss near the lower right corner. Each corner has a small piece of archival tape on the verso. Folded, Very Fine-.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
