    Casablanca (Warner Brothers, 1946/R-1948). First Post-War Release Italian Photobusta (13.5" X 19") & Italian Photobusta (9.5" X 13.25").
Drama, danger, romance, Michael Curtiz's landmark film brought all of these winning elements to the screen with a masterful quality impossible to imitate, though many have tried. Nominated for a total of eight Academy Awards and winner of three, Casablanca's perfect storm of talented writing, keen direction, and all-star cast culminated into a film more than worthy of its outstanding picture status. We are pleased to present two Italian photobustas, one from the original release and one from a re-release just a few short years later. The original photobusta has undergone restoration to address pinholes in the borders and interior, tears and chips in the borders, a vertical crease, and a tear from the bottom border through the title and into the background. One of the pinholes was in Ingrid Bergman's face. There is a faint stain still visible in the "B" of Casablanca with some small, speckled stains to the right side of the image. The reissue card has had touchup to a few pinholes in the borders and background. Fine/Very Fine.
