    Casablanca (Warner Brothers, 1946). First Post-War Release Danish Poster (24.5" X 33.5"). Benny Stilling Artwork.
    One of the best movies ever made, director Micheal Curtiz's masterpiece can only be described as a timeless classic unlike any other. The undeniable chemistry between Humphrey Bergman and Humphrey Bogart, compelling story from an outstanding team of writers, sweeping musical score, and A-list performances from a superb supporting cast elevates this inspiring film far above your typical, run-of-the-mill war drama. Ironically enough, that's exactly what Hal Wallis and Curtiz originally set out to make. Little did they know that Casablanca would generate eight Academy Award nominations, winning Oscars for Best Writing, Best Directing, and the coveted Best Picture award. Available for the first time at Heritage, this original release Danish poster has had restoration address some wear with small chips in the lower horizontal fold, some edge wear, and a stamp in the upper left corner. Touchup has been applied to some folds. Very Fine- on Linen.
