    Casablanca (Warner Brothers, 1942). Window Card (14" X 22").
    Academy Award winner for Best Picture and Best Director (Michael Curtiz), Casablanca is recognized by cinema goers everywhere as one of the greatest in film history. This lovely window card is a testament to the awe inspired by the film, as it features stunning images of stars Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman above the instantly recognizable film title and font. And in a symbolic gesture, the two lovers are surrounded by the shadowy figures that will be pivotal in their lives; Victor Lazlo (Paul Henried), Major Strasser (Conrad Veidt), Ugarte ( Peter Lorre), Signor Ferrari (Sydney Greenstreet) and Louis Renault (Claude Rains). Paper on this title is increasingly hard to find, and is sought after by collectors the world over. The imprint area of this fantastic window card has been bleached, and the white background has been airbrushed. Fine/Very Fine on Cardstock.
