Description

Casablanca (Warner Brothers, 1942). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Fearing that taking a supporting role would forever doom his leading-man status, Paul Henreid did not want to portray Victor Lazlo. However, he was loaned to Warner Brothers against his will by Selznick. As seen on this card, he seeks help from S. Z. Sakall, one of the many entertaining employees of Rick's Café American in the classic film. There are pinholes in the corners, a pinhole in the image and background, wear to the lower edge, a small lift in the upper border, and minor smudging. Very Fine-.
