Casablanca (Warner Bros., R-1953). Very Fine. Italian Photobustas (2) (19.25" X 13.5").A film that will forever be ingrained in cinematic history, Casablanca remains a favorite of collectors and movie-goers everywhere. Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, along with a top tier supporting cast and expert direction from Michael Curtiz, created a picture destined for greatness. Nominated for a total of eight Academy Awards, Casablanca took home Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. The 1953 reissue Italian photobustas featured in this lot showcase a touching image of Bergman with co-star Paul Henreid as well as a great interior shot of Rick's Café Americain showing Bogart, Claude Rains, and Dooley Wilson. General signs of handling include slight edge wear, light creases, pinholes, and minor tears. One of the photobustas has a nick in the right border and a scuff in the bottom background with a minute paper lift.
