    Description

Casablanca (Warner Bros., 1946/R-1953). Very Fine-. Italian First Post War Release Pressbook (12 Pages, 5" X 8") & Italian Pressbook (8 Pages, 6.75" X 9.5").
Heritage is proud to present these two Italian pressbooks for the first time, one from the film's first post-war release in 1946 and the other from the 1953 reissue. Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman star in what many consider to be one of the greatest movies ever made. Against the war-torn backdrop of Casablanca, they rekindle a romance amidst political intrigue, corruption, and murder. The film went on to win the Oscar for Best Picture, Director, and Screenplay. Bogart would receive his first nomination for Best Actor. The original release pressbook looks fantastic, showing only a few unobtrusive smudges and a rust stain from the spine staple on one of the pages. The 1953 release pressbook shows slight edge and spine wear, minor fold separations, and small tears. Other wear includes mild creases, a minor chip, as well as unobtrusive stains and smudges.
