    Description

Casablanca (Warner Bros., 1946). Fine/Very Fine. First Post-War Release Horizontal Italian Photobusta (19" X 13.5").
Heritage is proud to present this first post-war release photobusta for the first time. Featuring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Dooley Wilson, it is certainly a piece for classic collectors, as it is not often seen at auction. As one of the most beloved movies of all time, both the young and the young-at-heart enjoy the performances turned in by Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henried, Claude Rains, and Conrad Veidt in this Oscar winning classic. With bright colors and a beautiful architectural motif similar to other Italian formats for the film, this rare photobusta has such indications of handling present include slight edge wear, light creases, small tears at the edges, and pinholes, some of which are torn. The photobusta displays unobtrusive smudges, as well as faint staining in the upper left and right side of the borders and image. There is a printing irregularity in the "B" and "L" of the title. This is an opportunity collectors will not want to miss, as not only is post-war Italian paper from the first release very difficult to find, but is also highly collectible for fans of Michael Curtiz's monumental war drama.
