DescriptionAll About Eve (20th Century Fox, 1950). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Joseph Mankiewicz's screenplay is one of the wittiest ever produced for the movies, and tells the story of an aging actress and the ingénue who tries to replace her. The film would win Best Picture of the Year, and also achieve best screenplay, director and best supporting actor (George Sanders). Bette Davis, as the star Margo Channing, was nominated for Best Actress as was the conniving younger actress (Anne Baxter). Light touchup has been applied to some of the fold separations. Signs of use include slight fold wear, a nick in the lower right corner, as well as a minute stain. There are very minor tears at the edges, pinholes, faint edge and fold toning, and some image ghosting.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
