    Description

Mrs. Miniver (MGM, 1942). Midget Window Card (8" X 14"). Considered by many to be one of the finest films ever made, this is the story of a middle class British family during the early days of World War II. Not only did it win six Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress (for Greer Garson's unforgettable performance), Winston Churchill gave it the highest possible praise when he famously remarked that this film had done more for the war effort than a flotilla of destroyers! This beautiful midget window card shows a small chip off the upper left corner, some very slight creasing, and the title erased in the upper right, but is otherwise beautiful, and will make a valued addition to any collection. From the Collection of Denver Sherry. Very Fine.
