DescriptionBill of Divorcement (RKO, R-1944). Folded, Very Fine-. Spanish One Sheet (27.5" X 39.25"). Josè Maria Artwork. From the Mike Kaplan Collection.
Presented at Heritage for the first time, this Spanish one sheet features a lovely portrait of Katharine Hepburn by Josè Maria. Hepburn is very prominently billed on this reissue paper as she began her screen career in this film, showing the full force of her talent and holding her place in the spotlight next to veteran performer John Barrymore. Hepburn turned in a powerful performance that made her an instant star, kickstarting a long and glorious career. Indications of handling include minor fold separations, very small tears, pinholes, and mostly unobtrusive stains.
Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
