Description7th Heaven (Fox, 1927). Window Card (14" X 22").
Winning Oscars in the categories of Best Director and Best Actress (as well as several others) this Frank Borzage drama has Janet Gaynor playing the part of a Parisian prostitute, with Charles Farrell acting as the honorable street cleaner that saves her life. In an effort to keep her from getting arrested, the two are forced to live together in a fake marriage, eventually falling in love until the rising tide of WWI forces them to go their separate ways. This beautiful card has a touching image of the two lovers, and shows rounded corners and a couple of mild tears, one of which extends the red background. There is also some edge wear with minor chipping in the upper right border. Fine/Very Fine.
Estimate: $300 - $600.
