    Offered in this lot are several books about various theatres across the United States, all detailing historical or lost theatres in their golden ages, accompanied by photos of architecture, interior and exterior design, as well as examples of promotional materials used for performances. Included are the books for The Ohio Theatre 1928-1978 (Columbus Association for the Performing Arts, 1978), The Front Row: Missouri's Grand Theatres (Gateway, 1984), Lost Broadway Theatres (Princeton Architectural Press, 1997), Philadelphia Theaters A Pictorial Architectural History (Dover, 1994), Movie Palaces (Crown, 1980), The Best Remaining Seats (Bramhall House, 1975), and an autographed copy of Mill Town Footlights The Theaters of Everett, Washington (Everett Public Library, 2001). Unrestored books with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as slight edge and spine wear, light creases, or soft corner bumps. The flyleaf for The Best Remaining Seats has been inscribed in ink. The title page of Mill Town Footlights The Theaters of Everett, Washington has been signed by the author, David Dilgard. Heritage Auctions believes that the autographed item in this lot is authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
