Description

Ruby Keeler in Show Girl Publicity Still by DeBarron (Ziegfeld, 1929). Theater Still (8" X 10"). Vintage black and white, double weight, glossy still. This rare photo is from the Florenz Ziegfeld stage production of Show Girl, in which Keeler starred as Dixie Dugan. The musical was based on a then popular novel by J. P. McEvoy and featured an orchestra conducted by Duke Ellington. This pretty still has creasing in the top left corner, and some scratches and paper loss in the top center. Fine/Very Fine.
