    Description

Richard Nixon: Now More Than Ever (1972). Folded, Fine+. Banner (23.5" X 54"). Miscellaneous.
With uncertainty of being retained for re-election, Spiro Agnew rejoined the ticket when asked by Nixon to run again when a public announcement was made on July 22nd of 1971. It wasn't until early 1972 during the Beall investigation and revelation pressure did the Vice-President resign in the fall of 1973. This Heritage first political poster features both Nixon and Agnew waving to the viewer with a simple message of: "Now More Than Ever" to promote the re-election effort. This piece was owned by 20th Century Fox publicity agent Daniel Saez, who marketed such top tier titles as Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. An unrestored banner with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have slight edge and fold wear, very minor fold separations, tape stains, cellophane tape that extend to the verso, pinholes, small tears, and unobtrusive staining. Cellophane tape on the verso.
