    Description

    Program Lot (Various Theatres, 1929-1934). British Theatre Programs (9)(Multiple Pages, 5" X 8" to 6" X 9"). Miscellaneous.
This is a terrific lot! There are nine programs and "star" programs of primarily American actors and films. There are five Stoll Picture Theatre programs from 1931-1934 with great covers of Katharine Hepburn, George Arliss, Richard Barthelmess, Miriam Hopkins, and Wallace Beery and Marie Dressler. Inside there are double page ads with photos for Whoopee, Forward March (Buster Keaton), Romance (Greta Garbo), I Am a Fugitive (Paul Muni), Secrets (Mary Pickford), The Song You Gave Me (Bebe Daniels), Gold Diggers of 1933, and many more. There is a 1929 program for the New Gallery Theatre featuring Victor McLaglen in King - of the Khyber Rifles. There is a 16 page 1937 souvenir program full of photos for O.H.M.S. (released in the US as You're In the Army Now). There's also a Theatre Royal program for the 1930 film, Hell Harbour with great photos of Lupe Velez and Jean Hersholt. The lot concludes with a great 6 May 1932 copy of "Stars of the Month" which features Greta Garbo on the cover and full page photos inside on Jean Harlow, Loretta Young, Anna May Wong, Norma Shearer, Claudette Colbert, Billie Dove, Mae Clarke, and more! The programs are in excellent condition and display well. Two of the Stoll programs have center vertical creases. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Very Fine-.
