Paramount Exhibitor Book (Paramount, 1933-1934). Spiral Bound Book (Multiple Pages, 14" X 17").
This fantastic exhibitor book from Paramount Pictures features their projected release schedule for 1933 and 1934. It includes two page spreads for such classics as Duck Soup with the four Marx Brothers, I'm No Angel with Mae West, The Song of Songs with Marlene Dietrich, Alice in Wonderland, Design for Living, Death Takes a Holiday, and Betty Boop Cartoons. There are portraits of their star lineup including Gary Cooper, Carole Lombard, Burns and Allen, W.C. Fields, Cary Grant, Maurice Chevalier, Claudette Colbert, Bing Crosby, and many more. The exhibitor book shows a soft vertical fold, faint offset, smudging in pages, minor paper lifts on several pages, a few top corner creases, some edge wear towards the back, and surface wear on the covers. There is creasing and surface paper loss on the back cover and a series of minor paper lifts in Marlene Dietrich's portrait. A banner year for the studio and cinema history! Fine/Very Fine.
