    Description

Movie Story Magazine (Fawcett Publications, 1937/1939). Magazines (3) (Multiple Pages, 8.5" X 11.25"). Miscellaneous.
Featured are the June and August 1937, and June 1939 issues of Movie Story Magazine, a fan magazine which spotlights current, at the time, films in theaters in a story format. The June 1937 issues features a cover with Errol Flynn from the film The Prince and the Pauper. The August 1937 issue features a cover with Robert Taylor for the film Broadway Melody of 1938, and the June 1939 cover features Irene Dunne and Fred MacMurray in Invitation to Happiness. Other noted films included are Goodbye Mr. Chips, Rose of Washington Square, It's Love I'm After, This is My Affair, and As Good as Married, just to name a few. Unrestored magazines with good color and overall very presentable appearances. They may show signs of use such as spine and edge wear, toning due to age, mild creases, and minor nicks and/or tears. The spines on two of the magazines have been reinforced with plastic tape, while the other magazine has writing on the back cover. Please see full-color, enlargeable image above for more details.
