    Lightner the Wizard and Company (1900s). Magician Poster (19.5" X 29.75"). Miscellaneous.
    Beginning as a magician on the early 1990s vaudeville circuit, Joe Lightner had a more varied career than most stage performers. After earning his spot as the 1914 president of the International Magic Circle, Lightner went on to attain ten consecutive terms as the mayor of Odessa, Missouri, and then served as a Missouri state senator 1934. A restored stone litho poster that displayed signs of use. Touchup has been applied to a few creases, mild tears in the borders, and a chip in the upper left corner. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades. Please see full-color, enlargeable image above for more details. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
