    Description

Joan Crawford by Ruth Harriet Louise - Lost Hollywood Collection (1920s). Still (11" X 14"). Joan Crawford, almost unrecognizable as compared to the severe image later projected, is seen here in an MGM special art photo. Portrait dates from the mid-1920s when the studio decided to promote her to stardom, in the days when this was an executive decision and not the result of box office popularity. Photographers stamp on reverse also embossed in lower right hand border. Printed on Double Weight paper. CGC: Excellent.
