Description

Facebook Motivational Posters (Facebook, 2010s). Screen Print Posters (4) (16" X 20").
With more than 1.5 billion active monthly users, social networking site Facebook has changed the way in which much of the world interacts. With so many regular users, the company has employed a workforce of nearly 13,000 employees. One such employee is Ben Barry, a designer who worked in the marketing department for two years prior to setting up, along with co-worker Everett Katigbak, an on-site screen printing studio referred to as the Analog Research Lab for the creation of "motivational" posters used within the company. These hand-screened posters were printed in runs of up to 100, and line the walls of the company's more than 30 global offices. Heritage is proud to offer, for the first time, some of the intriguing posters from Facebook's Analog Research Lab, many of which have never been seen outside of the Facebook offices. Featured are four posters showcasing motivational sayings that celebrate the hacker mindset, including the once popular company motto, "Move Fast and Break Things," which was later changed to the less catchy "Move Fast with Stable Infrastructure." Other sayings included with "Move Fast and Break Things" are "What Would You Do If You Weren't Afraid?," "Move Fast and Build Things," and "Fortune Favors the Bold" which features the saying in Latin on the verso. All were designed by Ben Barry, and are in excellent condition. Mint.
