Description

Cooks Travel Poster (1960s). Poster (25" X 40") "The Sun Never Sets on Cooks." Miscellaneous.
A vintage travel poster, advertising the well known world wide travel agency, Cooks, which was founded by Thomas Cook and Son back in 1872. Using an image of the Sun illuminating the Earth and marking Cooks locations around the world, this poster plays on the old expression that "the sun never sets on the British Empire." An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. May include light edge wear, tears, very minor paper loss, creases, or unobtrusive stains. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
