    Classic Film Collector (Samuel K. Rubin, June 1962- April 1974). Magazines (84) (Multiple Pages, 8.5" X 12.25", 8.5" X 14", & 11.5" X 16"). Miscellaneous.
Included in this lot are 84 issues of the great fan film newspaper style magazine 8mm Collector, which changed its name after its 14th issue in 1966 to its better known title Classic Film Collector. The magazines are full of photos, drawings, exchange ads, bios of the stars, synopses of films, etc, often running to over 60 pages! It was literally the "ground-floor" for serious collectors of film memorabilia. The first four issues were published as mimeographed pages, which varied in size by issue from 8.5" X 12.25" to 8.5" X 14" until it standardized by issue #5 as 11.5" X 16". This group of magazines begins with the first nine issues and has 28 non consecutive issues up to and including the April 1974 issue. There are 47 duplicate magazines, which run from two to seven copies each. Unrestored magazines with a clean overall appearance. They may have general signs of use, such as light spine and edge wear, creases, or very minor tears. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Due to the weight of this lot, shipping costs will be higher than normal. The overall grade is Very Fine-.
