    Brigitte Bardot Wire Service Photo Lot (Various, 1960s-1970s). Photos (29) (Approximately 7" X 9" - 8" X 10"). Miscellaneous.
Offered is a fantastic assortment of classic press photos, chronicling the international adventures of Brigitte Bardot at the height of her celebrity powers in the sixties and early seventies. Appearances are made at clubs and ceremonies, galas and galleries, beaches, balls, and soccer fields, and on the job during the production of films such as The Bear and the Doll, Viva Maria!, Les Novices, A Ghost at Noon, Jean-Luc Godard's Contempt, Adorable Idiot, and more... B.B.'s fashion runs the gamut from bikinis to nun's habits, as well, and in one she even sports a fabulous metal micro-miniskirt and matching brassiere, from designer Paco Rabanne. Unrestored vintage gelatin silver and black and white, single weight, glossy finish photos with clean overall appearances. They may show general signs of use, such as slight edge wear, light creases, faint smudges, small tears, or limited surface blemishes (including minor instances of checking). Many of the photos have snipes attached with adhesive on the verso, including a number which wrap around to the front. In a few cases, the snipe glue has caused gentle discoloration in the front image areas. Some also have grease pencil markings in the caption areas, to denote matters relating to publication. This lot contains photos from the Associated Press, United Press International, and Wide World Photos. There is one duplicate photo. Please see full-color, enlargeable images above for more details. Overall Grade: Very Fine.
