Barbie Pink Label Collection: "I Love Lucy" (Mattel, 2008). Display Box (9.5" X 13" X 3.5"). Miscellaneous.
These Limited Edition Barbie dolls are the perfect items for any avid I Love Lucy collector. Modeled after Lucy Ricardo and Ethel Mertz in the infamous 39th episode "Job Switching," the two Barbies are dressed in their pink candy factory uniforms, cheeks plumped and eyes wide in their (ultimately in vain) attempts to keep up with the chocolates speeding by on the conveyor belt. Lucy also sports her pretty pearl earrings and necklace, while Ethel holds up a chocolate to be wrapped in one of her hands. Though the girls' hair may be a tad tousled and Lucy has a hairline scratch across her finger, they appear to otherwise be in perfect shape. The display box has some creasing, dents, minor tears, and unobtrusive surface scuffs. The voice line button is no longer functional. The lid of the display box has been secured with a small strip of archival tape. Fine/Very Fine.
