James Bond Vinyl Record Lot (Various, 1960s-1980s). Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LPs (8) (12.25" X 12.25"). James Bond.
Offered is a toe-tapping, finger-snapping assortment of classic tunes from Ian Fleming's immortal James Bond film series - featuring many contributions from the talented John Barry, along with fantastic cover images of Sean Connery, Honor Blackman, Shirley Eaton, Ursula Andress, and George Lazenby, in favorites like Dr. No (United Artists Records, 1976), From Russia with Love (Liberty, R-1980s), a 1965 British country of origin and 1980s German edition of Thunderball (United Artists) featuring Robert McGinnis artwork and a Tom Jones theme, two country of origin issues of Goldfinger (United Artists & Sunset Records, 1964) with a theme from Shirley Bassey, a Japanese release for On Her Majesty's Secret Service (United Artists, 1970) with Hal David tracks from Louis Armstrong and Nina, and You Only Live Twice (United Artists Records, 1967) with a theme from Nancy Sinatra. Unrestored long playing soundtrack albums with bright sleeve colors and clean overall appearances. Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and the German Thunderball albums remain unopened - still in their original shrink-wrapping - and show only the barest corner wear. The remaining records are in generally great shape as well. Signs of use may include slight edge and surface wear, light sleeve creases, faint smudges, or unobtrusive stains. The Sunset Records Goldfinger and You Only Live Twice albums each have their protective covers secured to the sleeves with cellophane tape, as well. Please see full-color, enlargeable images above for more details. Overall Grade: Very Fine+.
