    James Bond Book Lot (1988-2006). Overall: Very Fine+. Large Print Hardcover Books (15) (Multiple Pages, 6" X 8.5" - 6.5" X 9.5") & Large Print Paperback Books (2) (Multiple Pages, 5.5" X 8.5"). James Bond.
Offered in this lot is a collection of large print novels featuring the ongoing adventures of Ian Fleming's James Bond by various authors, and one book from the Young James Bond series. Titles written by Ian Fleming include Live and Let Die (Thorndike Press, 2006), On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Thorndike Press, 2006), and two identical copies of Casino Royale (Chivers Press, 1998). Titles written by John Gardner include Nobody Lives Forever (Landmark, 1986), No Deals, Mr. Bond (Landmark, 1987), two copies of Scorpius (Thorndike, 1988 & Clio Press, 1989), Win, Lose or Die (Clio Press, 1990), two identical paperback copies of Brokenclaw (Curley, 1990), and two identical copies of GoldenEye (ISIS, 1996). Titles written by Raymond Benson include The World is Not Enough (Ulverscroft, 2005), Die Another Day (Thorndike, 2003), and DoubleShot (Thorndike, 2000). Also included is SilverFin (Thorndike, 2005) written by Charlie Higson from the Young James Bond series. Unrestored books with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as light edge and spine wear, slight creases, minor scuffs, some subtle foxing, small paper lifts, faint smudges, or unobtrusive stains. Both copies of Brokenclaw and the copy of No Deals, Mr. Bond were former library books and display the worst of the wear including ink stamps, stickers on the cover or interior, a torn front page, ink writing, or a pocket adhered to the inside of the back cover. One copy of Casino Royale has its front endpaper torn out. Nobody Lives Forever is signed on the title page by author John Gardner, and The World is Not Enough and DoubleShot are signed on their title pages by author Raymond Benson. Heritage Auctions believes that the signatures in this lot are authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided. Due to the size and weight of this lot, shipping costs may be higher than usual.
