    Description

James Bond 007: Thunderball & Other Lot (Milton Bradley, 1965). Very Fine. Complete Unused and Sealed Board Games in Original Boxes (2) (9.5" X 19" X 1.5") Frank McCarthy Artwork.
Featured in this lot (and offered for the first time at Heritage) is the officially licensed board game for 1965's Thunderball. The game is based on the exciting sequences in the film involving James Bond's pursuit of Emilio Largo's stolen NATO bombs. In the game, players take the roles of secret agents competing to be the first to diffuse the one armed bomb on the playing board. The box and board both feature fantastic artwork by Frank McaCarthy as well as images of Thunderball's stars including Sean Connery, Adolfo Celi, Claudine Auger, and Luciana Paluzzi. Also included is James Bond Secret Agent 007, another officially licensed Bond board game released by Milton Bradley in 1964 where players compete to gather the most intelligence as spies working with James Bond. Both games contain all of their original playing pieces, with the pieces still wrapped in the original plastic. The game boards are in fantastic condition with only a few minor scuffs, and some light bubbling. The boxes display the worst of the wear, having minute tears, slight edge wear, faint toning, subtle scuffs and scratches, and unobtrusive stains. One of the corners on the box for James Bond Secret Agent 007 has a minor separation.
