The Mummy's Tomb (Universal, 1942). Insert (14" X 36").
Kharis the Mummy (Lon Chaney Jr.) rises from the bayous of Louisiana in this Universal Horror classic. Buried in the swamps 25 years earlier, Kharis once again sets out to find his reincarnated lost love Ananka (Virginia Christine). This was to be the last film in Universal's Mummy franchise, but Britain's Hammer Films would later pick up the ball in 1959 with their update of the classic tale. Not offered in over a decade, this colorful insert features a similar image and layout to the much coveted one sheet. Prior to professional touchup, this classic poster once showed fold wear, pinholes into the interior, a scratch in Turhan Bey's image, and a few mild creases. There was a small tear near the upper fold in Elyse Knox's legs, a scratch in the title and credit area, and the borders have been airbrushed. Very Fine- on Paper.
