The Invisible Man (Realart, R-1951). Insert (14" X 36").
This was the first reissue of The Invisible Man after its initial run in 1933. Claude Rains stars as the ultimate mad scientist, whose invention, a serum that renders the user invisible, also drives the user insane. It was Rains' first film at the age of 44, as he had been a stage actor prior to this movie. It would also add him to the pantheon of Universal horror actors, his performance as the mad Dr. Jack Griffin making him into him a legend. Touchup has been applied to the folds, pinholes in the corners, and some small surface scuffs. The borders have been airbrushed, completing the poster's restoration. Very Fine- on Paper.
